PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) — Steelers Insider Ed Bouchette joined Seibel, Starkey and Miller on Sports Radio 93-7 The FAN to give us the latest update on Ben Roethlisberger’s status.

Despite the report that Ben’s rib is no longer an issue when it comes to him playing this week, Ed said he’ll merely be okay enough to walk the sideline, and that’s about it.  Ed would be surprised though if Ben suits up on Sunday and that means Charlie Batch will be the starter again.

When it comes to Batch getting the nod, Bouchette said he thinks Batch will be better since he has been taking the snaps in practice and will have Antonio Brown back.

Ed also provided us with an update on injured left guard Willie Colon and right guard David DeCastro.

Another position where there will be some shakeup this weekend is at running back, and Ed gave us his thoughts on what the team needs to do with that position heading into next season.

We wrapped things up with Ed getting his thoughts on what he has seen from Mike Wallace this year.
