NORTH VERSAILLES (KDKA) — Rescue crews were called to North Versailles Thursday night to rescue a driver who plunged about 25 feet over a hillside.

The accident happened around 10 p.m. at Westinghouse and Fifth Avenues.

The driver was able to free himself from the vehicle, but needed to be brought up the hill on a stretcher.

There’s no word on his condition or what caused the crash.
