SUV Hits, Kills Woman

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A woman died last night after she was hit by a car in Indiana County.

It happened around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday along Route 422 in Shelocta.

Police say 45-year-old Michelle Lynne Hensley was hit by a Sport Utility Vehicle while walking along the road.

Hensley was transported to Indiana Regional Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.

Police are continuing to investigate the accident and say multiple toxicology tests are pending.
