Larry Foote on Steelers 23-20 Win

PITTSBURGH (93.7 THE FAN) - Every Tuesday morning, the Fan Morning Show speaks to Steelers Linebacker Larry Foote.

Larry tells the guys that the team's makeup is such, that they play best when they have their backs up against the wall. They proved that, yet again, in Baltimore with a big 23-20 win.

Charlie Batch had a very meaningful win, and Larry jabs him with a few jokes about how emotional the quarterback became after the win. Larry says he is "still crying."

The Steelers may have lost their best cornerback to injury on Sunday when Ike Taylor went down. Larry was very pleased with the way that Cortez Allen and Curtis Brown filled in during Ike's absence.

Jason LaConfora came out with a report prior to Sunday's game that the Steelers were frustrated that Ben Roethlisberger didn't practice hard enough, and could have played. Larry says the report is totally untrue. He joked, "I've never seen a quarterback practice hard anyways." But, he tells us that Ben's toughness is never brought into question in that locker room.
