NEW CASTLE (KDKA) — Two people have been hospitalized following a shooting this evening in Lawrence County.

According to emergency dispatchers with the county, police and paramedics were called to the housing complex on Pin Oak Drive in New Castle around 5 p.m.

One of the victims was was taken for treatment from the scene and the other showed up a short time later at Jameson Hospital.

Several people are reportedly being questioned in connection with the shooting, but no one is in custody.

The investigation continues.
