16th Street Bridge To Be Named After David McCullough
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The 16th Street Bridge will soon be known by a different name.
Our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette report that Allegheny County Council unanimously agreed to rename the bridge after Pulitzer Prize-winning author and historian David McCullough.
McCullough is from southwestern Pennsylvania.
He is the author of many best-selling books, including "Truman" and "John Adams," for which he won two Pulitzer Prizes.
He is also known as the narrator of the Ken Burns documentary series "The Civil War."
