PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) — Panther-Lair.com czar and 93-7 The Fan personality Chris Peak joined The Fan Morning Show on Wednesday to explore the growing concern that Pitt head coach Paul Chryst could end up filling the recently-opened head coaching vacancy at Wisconsin.

Chris explained that he thinks Chryst will probably stay and that Wisconsin might want to land a bigger name, but that the concern among fans is certainly valid.

“At the end of the day, while I’m optimistic… it’s not a guarantee,” Peak said. “If you were a Pitt fan, this was the one job you didn’t want to see come open.”

Peak, who spends a lot of time covering recruiting, said he expects top recruits Robert Foster and Tyler Boyd to have Pitt at the top of their lists despite the rumors.
