Man Tries To Win Back Wife With Ex-Girlfriend's Ring

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A Pennsylvania man is accused of stealing his ex-girlfriend's engagement ring on Thanksgiving, in an attempt to reconnect with his wife.

The Scranton Times-Tribune reports that Donald Albritton visited his ex-girlfriend, Megan White, on the holiday allegedly under the pretense of thanking her for not pressing charges against his teenage daughter.

The newspaper reports that Albritton's daughter is accused of stealing a piece of jewelry and pair of shoes from White's home.

And when White took off her wedding ring to make dinner, witnesses say Albritton took it.

According to a police report written by White, Albritton took the ring to "patch things up with his wife," the Times-Tribune wrote.

Albritton is charged with one count of theft.

In another incident, Albritton is also facing charges robbery, attempted robbery and simple assault.

There is no word on the status of his marriage.
