PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – An Indiana Borough boy was killed when his father accidentally hit him with his pickup truck Saturday.

It happened around 2:30 p.m. in the 1300-block of Poplar Avenue.

Indiana County Coroner Michael Baker said 3-year-old Rylee Littleben was struck when his father and uncle were moving cars out of their driveway.

“This is very tragic for everyone involved — especially the parents, losing a small child like that,” Indiana Borough Police Officer Tom Dessell said.

Littleben came out of the house at the time they were moving the cars and was hit by the driver’s side rear wheel of the pickup truck his father was driving.

After the boy was hit, the men took him to Indiana Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

No foul play is suspected and the death was ruled an accident.
