Midseason Shake Up Changing TV Line Ups

PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) - It's mid-December, and that means most TV shows are going on hiatus for the holidays.  Some of those shows won't be back, or will barely make it through their first season.

KDKA AM's Larry and John talk to Dr. Robert Thompson, a TV and pop culture expert and Founding Director of the Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture at Syracuse University, about what shows have already been canceled, which ones are in danger, and which shows are going strong. Dr Thompson also talks about the new FCC rule about commercials and how they now need to have lowered volume so that the ads aren't yelling at you.
