PITTSBURGH ( KDKA) – Some people were left in the dark overnight.
It was due to a power outage in parts of Squirrel Hill.
The outage was caused by a transformer that exploded during the night.
It was located at the corner of Beacon and Wightman streets and the areas around the transformer were left in the dark.
Duquesne Light was called to the scene and as of 6 a.m. Wednesday, most of the power had been restored.
