PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) — No doubt you have heard the ads…donate your car to charity for a tax deduction and to help a cause.

I recently had a chance to talk to Erin Tuladzieck who is the Regional Development Director of the National Kidney Foundation about their Kidney Cars program, which takes that old, unwanted car or boat and turns it into dollars for kidney disease research.

Erin talked about where the money from your car goes, how easy the process is and who benefits from your vehicle donation. The Kidney Cars program is among the highest return from value of the vehicle at about 81 percent.
