Monday’s KDKA Afternoon News: Dec. 17, 2012

PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) — Just in case you were busy Monday, or wanted to hear a segment of Monday’s KDKA Afternoon News one more time, here’s a recap of the highlights.

KDKA Radio’s Bill Rehkopf kicks things off like he does every Monday by talking to former Steeler Josh Miller about Sunday’s game, this time a loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

Bill then talks to Jim Lokay, from WCVB-TV in Boston, who spent the weekend in Newtown.

For a different perspective, Bill talks with Dr. Paul Friday, a clinical psychologist. They talk about the need to focus on mental illness.

Bill also talks to Lauren Ashburn from the to discuss gun control and the political effects such bills could create.

To wrap everything up, Bills chats with Tim Beamer, the first cousin of Sandy Hook Elementary School Principal Dawn Hochsprung.
