PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) — Dr. Christian Conte joined KDKA Radio’s Mike Pintek to talk about violence in life, family and relationships.

Dr. Conte is a licensed professional counselor and a national certified psychologist.

Dr. Conte discusses tolerance with violence in media and video games. He also talks about how we react and the psychology behind violence in media.

He says that “violence is part of being a human being;” its how we are able to deal with it.

Dr. Mike Dillon also joined Mike and Dr. Conte to discuss the “interplay depicted in our culture and the violence that actually occurs in the reality that we all have to live in.”

Doctors Dillon and Conte also discuss whether or not media is partly to blame for the violence culture America has become today.
