PITTSBURGH (KDKA 93-7 THE FAN)- Steelers wide receiver Plaxico Burress talked with Joe Starkey before practice Thursday.

Burress said that everyone on the team understands the sense of urgency, and have to play good football.

Burress told Starkey that the receivers are young, and sometimes they will make great plays and sometimes they will struggle. But Burress added that the young guys understand the moment, and those bumps and bruises will help them later in their careers.

Burress admitted to loving this time of the season, and likes the fact that the team controls their own destiny.
