PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — An Allegheny County councilman says he is “deeply remorseful and ashamed” over a recent drunk driving arrest.

Councilman Bob Macey, who represents District 9, says he lost control of his vehicle on an icy patch in the road last Saturday in Irwin Township, Venango County.

Macey was found uninjured in his car, in a ditch along the road.

State Police arrested Macey at the scene, he faces DUI Charges.

Macey said he is already in treatment at a local rehabilitation center.

County Council District 9 includes West Mifflin and much of the Mon Valley.
