Mr. College Football: BCS Title Game Might Be Closer Than Expected
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) -- Renowned college football analyst Tony Barnhart, often referred to as "Mr. College Football," joined The Fan Morning Show on Monday to preview the BCS National Championship Game, and to offer his insight on the college football landscape at large.
He expects tonight's title game between Notre Dame and Alabama to be closer than many expect it to be.
"A lot of the guys in Vegas are seeing this as a double-digit game," Barnhart said. "I don't see it."
He also mentioned that he sees Pitt doing fine in the ACC under Paul Chryst's leadership, but thinks the Panthers need to beef up their defense and get a little more creative on offense.
