PITTSBURGH (KDKA) –An elderly man who went missing while his wife was at church was found less than 24 hours later.

Family members said Sunday that 92-year-old Sydney Fowler of Pittsburgh took his wife’s 1999 red Acura 2.0 CL that morning while she was at church.

Fowler’s granddaughter says he had not driven in two years and shows signs of early dementia. Fowler is also diabetic.

But Sunday night, the family said Fowler was found near State College.

He was taken to Lewistown Hospital and his condition is unknown.
