PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) – Pittsburgh Penguins CEO/President David Morehouse previews the upcoming season with Sportsradio 93-7 The Fan’s Ron Cook.

Now that hockey is back, Mr. Morehouse reports that it’s all smiles around the Penguins office.

“The fans have been unbelievable,” Morehouse says. “We don’t do lockouts, we play hockey. So we’re glad to have it back.”

He thanks the fans for their patience through the lockout, and details some of the ways the team is reaching out to the fans.

Morehouse also explains whether being named the Stanley Cup favorite places any extra pressure on the Pens.

“We expect the best, and anything short of that is not successful for us,” says Morehouse.

He also predicts the chances that Pittsburgh may be able to keep Evgeni Malkin and Kris Letang long-term, and also gives head coach Dan Bylsma a staunch vote of confidence.
