Arrest Warrant Issued For McKeesport Bar Homicide Suspect
MCKEESPORT (KDKA) - Homicide detectives are looking for the man they say is responsible for a murder at Street Stars bar in McKeesport.
Mark Leonard is charged with homicide and weapons violations.
He is described as a 32-year-old black male, approximately 5' 11" tall and 175 pounds. He has distinctive hazel colored eyes and was last seen with a bald head and beard. He also has tattoos on both sides of his neck.
The shooting happened on January 11th, and the victim was 34-year-old Jayemond Bailey from McKeesport.
Police say he was shot around a dozen times. He was taken to an area hospital, but later died. They also say they've been called to the bar many times in the past.
At least 20 people were also inside the bar at the time of the shooting, but currently, no witnesses have come forward or provided information to police
Leonard is originally from the Hill District area and is known to frequent McKeesport and the Manchester section of Pittsburgh.
Anyone with information concerning his whereabouts is asked to call the McKeesport Police or the homicide unit at 412-473-1300.
Police say if you see Leonard you should call 9-1-1 immediately.
