PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A man was arrested Friday night after fleeing police while driving a stolen car.

Police say they tried to pull over 24-year-old Ashlee Samuels of Pittsburgh for a traffic violation around 10:30 p.m.

Samuels led police on a chase from the intersection of State Routes 819 and 22 in Salem Township to the City of Jeannette.

Once police caught up with Samuels, he was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

Police also say Samuels was driving a car that was reported stolen from Pittsburgh two hours prior.

Samuels is awaiting charges.
