PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Two men were arrested Monday after police found a makeshift marijuana grow lab in their basement.

Police say they were tipped off by a neighbor who found a power cord attached to his house on Solar Street.

Safety hazard officers and fire officials responded to the house where 22-year-old Tomas and 24-year-old Michal Nemcok live.

Officials found a marijuana grow lab with soil, planters and live marijuana plants. In addition, they also found pills and a gun, as well as many safety hazards, including a space heater running next to a can of paint thinner.

Nemcok and Nemcok were both arrested and taken to the Allegheny County Jail and charged on multiple counts.
