Rupture Sends Water Gushing Into Downtown Hotel Lobby

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Water gushing into the lobby of a Downtown hotel kept Pittsburgh firefighters busy Thursday night.

Employees called for help around 7:30 p.m. after water started pouring into the Wyndham Grand.

The rupture set off the hotel's alarm system.

Fire crews used pumps to remove water from the lobby area.

It caused minor damage to the carpeting and floor.
