State Police Probe 2nd Armed Robbery In German Twp.

GERMAN TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- State Police in Fayette County are investigating another armed robbery at a business in German Township.

Investigators say the robbery happened around 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Fox's Pizza along McClellandtown Road.

The nearby Sweet Peas Convenience Store was held up back on Tuesday. State police say they believe the two incidents could be linked.

The suspects in the convenience store robbery fled on an ATV, state police said.

According to police, in Thursday's incident, two suspects went into the pizzeria and demanded money from the clerks inside. They managed to get away with an undisclosed amount of cash and the direction they headed is not known.

Both suspects are described as being between five-foot-eight and six-feet tall and having thin builds.

The first suspect was wearing a black ski mask, black-hooded sweatshirt, dark-colored jeans and black gloves. Police say he also had a black revolver-type handgun that had a wooden handle.

The other suspect had on a blue ski mask, a dark-hooded sweatshirt with an orange/red sweatshirt underneath and purple latex gloves. He had a black semi-automatic handgun, authorities said.
