Icy Creek Causes Lawrence Co. Crash
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – An icy creek was responsible for another weather-related crash in Lawrence County early Saturday morning.
It happened near Portersville Road in Perry Township, near Ellwood City.
The creek, which had only a little bit of water in it, was frozen.
A pickup truck going over it then slid off the road and into an embankment.
Rescuers had to cut the driver from the pickup.
He was taken to the hospital, but his condition is unknown.
