REDSTONE TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — State police in Fayette County are searching for a suspect following an armed robbery at a McDonald’s on Saturday evening.

According to officials, the robbery happened around 5:15 p.m. at the fast food restaurant on Roberts Road in Redstone Township.

Police say the suspect had what appeared to be a black semi-automatic handgun.

He is described as a white male between 20- to 30-years-old. He was wearing a dark mask, black hat, black coat and dark-colored pants.

Authorities say he got away in a reddish-colored, newer model, four-door vehicle with a sunroof.
