PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — A man was taken to the hospital Wednesday evening following a shooting in Northview Heights.

According to emergency officials, the shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. in the 800-block of Mt. Pleasant Road.

The victim reportedly suffered a gunshot wound to the leg.

He was in stable condition when he was taken to Allegheny General Hospital for treatment.

There’s no word on what prompted the shooting.
