NORTH SIDE (KDKA) – A tense standoff on the North Side ended peacefully early Thursday morning.

According to police, the standoff began at a home on Veterans Street around 3 a.m.

Three men and a woman were inside the home and police initially believed the woman was being held against her will.

Within minutes of the SWAT team arriving around 4 a.m., the woman came out of the house. She was placed in the back of a police car, where officers asked her about the situation.

The three men inside surrendered about 45 minutes later.

Police have not released any names or other details about the incident at this time.
