TURTLE CREEK (KDKA)- One person was taken to the hospital after an overnight stabbing in Turtle Creek.

It happened around 1 a.m. Friday morning in the 900-block of Oak Avenue.

Police say it happened when a fight broke out allegedly over a $6 bag of marijuana.

One 14-year-old male was stabbed in the abdomen and taken to Forbes Regional Hospital in Monroeville. Police say he is in stable condition.

Four men were taken into custody at a home in the 300-block of Monroeville Avenue early this morning.

It is unclear if there were more people involved in the incident who may have left the scene.

Video shows blood on some of the men’s clothing. One of the men appeared to be ruffled up and looked as if he had gotten into a fight.

They were all taken to the Turtle Creek Police Department.

So far, 18-year-old Marc Ely of East McKeesport has been charged with one count of aggravated assault and is currently at the Allegheny County Jail.

Allegheny County Homicide Detectives were sent to the investigate.
