PITTSBURGH (KDKA AM 1020) — Tuesday’s KDKA Afternoon News covered a variety of hot topics, including what’s going on with the Pa. Department of Environmental Protection and the recent congressional hearing on the Legionnaire’s outbreak at the Pittsburgh VA.

First host Bill Rehkopf spoke with KDKA’s Adam Kirk who’s been working on an interesting story involving the Pa. DEP.

Later Rehkopf talked to Salena Zito from the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review about President Barack Obama and sequestration.

Bill then spoke with Colo. Congressman Mike Coffman, who is heading a panel looking into the Legionnaire’s problems at the local VA hospitals.

Pa. Gov. Tom Corbett also joined the show live to recaps Tuesday’s budget address and his proposal for 2013-14.

Following the Governor, Rehkopf talked to Pa. Rep. Joe Markosek for another angle on the Governor’s proposed budget.
