PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) — ROOT Sports Penguins analyst Jay Caufield joined The Fan Morning Show today to look forward to tonight’s Senators vs. Penguins game at Consol Energy Center.

He felt that the Devils dictated the pace of play against the Pens in the teams’ two weekend tilts, and that the latter squad was often a step behind in that regard.

He explained that the Senators are in a tough spot without star center Jason Spezza, and that their goaltending may prove to be key because of this, even though we aren’t sure who will be starting in net for them tonight yet.
