MONONGAHELA (KDKA) – Police are investigating after a train slammed into a vehicle in Washington County Thursday afternoon.

According to emergency dispatchers, the accident happened in the 100-block of 7th Street Crossing in Monongahela shortly after 1 p.m.

There are no reports of injuries, but the driver was believed to have been a little shaken up.

The train did not derail and it is unclear what led to the accident at this time.
