PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) -- Here's a roundup of some of Tuesday's top news stories from the KDKA Afternoon News, including the investigation into the Pittsburgh Police and some new safety standards in Pittsburgh Public Schools.

Frito-Lay has a new flavor in its line of potato chips. Out now is the flavor "Chicken and Waffles," which host Bill Rehkopf tried, but was disappointed with how they tasted.

Ian Swanson of the Hill.com talked about the latest news from Washington D.C.

Pittsburgh Public Schools is working to improve safety. Joe DeStio is writing a story about the changes officials are making to increase safety standards.

KDKA-TV's Marty Griffin also talked about the latest updates in the investigation into Pittsburgh Police and Chief Nate Harper. The mayor announced this week that he is also launching his own investigation to look into the alleged corruption.
