PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Pittsburgh police say they have arrested a woman wanted in last week’s bank robbery in Shadyside.

According to police, 34-year-old Robyn Marie Kitt was taken into custody at a home in the 400-block of Antenor Avenue in Pittsburgh.

She has been charged with robbery.

The incident happened last Thursday, Feb. 14, at the First National Bank in the 800-block of South Aiken Avenue just before 3 p.m.

Investigators say the suspect had a weapon and demanded money from the tellers. She managed to get away on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

No injuries were reported as a result of the robbery.

Following the incident, police dusted for fingerprints at the scene, checked surveillance video and even brought in a bloodhound to track the suspect. The dog picked up a scent, but lost it about a block away.

An arrest warrant was issued for Kitt on Wednesday. Following her arrest, she was taken to the Allegheny County Jail.
