PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) – St. John’s Special Assistant and former Purdue head coach Gene Keady looks forward to the Red Storm matchup with Pitt this weekend, and sees potential issues for his team against Steven Adams.

Keady joined Starkey, Miller and Mueller on The FAN to preview the matchup, and where Pitt may have an advantage.

“Everything’s a problem for us because we’re all freshmen and sophomores,” he said. “That guy [Adams] is gonna be a problem because he’s big and he can play, and post defense is something we need to really work on.”

Keady also weighed in on the state of college basketball, St. John’s chances of getting into the tournament, and who the best college hoops player of all time is.
