PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 The Fan) -- Rob Pratte broadcasted live from Kuhn's Market as he hosted Black and Gold Sundays. Pratte spoke with Ted Arneault and Bob Dvorchak, as well as Jayme Meridith, Shelly Anderson, and Mike Bires.
Pratte talked about the crash at Daytona in the Nationwide Series opener Sunday. Debris from the accident flew into the stands and injured spectators, amateur video of the crash was posted.
The Pirates spring training has also just begun and young talent is being tested, there are many young pitchers who have a chance to make a name for themselves.
Pratte also talked about Evgeni Malkin's recent head injury is major news to fans of the Penguins, once again the Pens will be without one of their superstars for some period of time. Head injuries continue to be a hot topic in major league sports.
