(BRADENTON, FL, 93.7 THE FAN)–Pirates Broadcaster, John Wehner joined the Fan Morning Show Monday morning live in Bradenton, Fla. at Pirates’ Spring Training.

Rock wants to cool some anticipation based on what they have seen in Spring Training. Players could be having a good spring, but aren’t necessarily going have that translate into a stellar 2013 season.

However, he does think that the lineup is solid throughout. He thinks they can compete with the mix they have of speed and power.

We also get his thoughts on the acquisition of Russell Martin and how he will help this Pirates’ lineup, and defense.
