Father, Daughter Sentenced & Banned For PNC Park Fight

PITTSBURGH (AP) - A judge has sentenced a father and daughter to probation for a PNC Park scuffle that cost a security guard his fingertip.

Under Tuesday's sentences, 21-year-old Rachel George and her father, 51-year-old Christopher George, both of Hempfield Township, will also be banned from the Pittsburgh Pirates' stadium during their two-year probation terms. Rachel George must also serve the first 30 days of her sentence on house arrest.

The Georges were arrested in May 12 after they attacked the security guard as Rachel George was being removed from the stadium for smoking.

The guard's fingertip was torn when it got caught in a fence as the Georges yanked him away. Though it was surgically reattached, the fingertip had to be amputated two weeks later.

The Georges must also pay the Pirates $28,000 in restitution.
