PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Route 28 is shut down in both the north and south lanes following a crash.

It happened sometime after 10 p.m. north of the Highland Park Bridge.

The stretch of highway is the same area where there have been two fatal accidents in the past several weeks.

No word yet on any injuries.

One person was also flown to the hospital following a crash along Halstead Boulevard in Zelienople.

The car went off the road and crashed into Connoquenessing creek.

A dive team was called to the scene to assist.
