Will State Sen. Jim Ferlo Run For Mayor?

PITTSBURGH (News Radio 1020 KDKA)-  KDKA's Rob Pratte spoke Sunday morning with State Sen. Jim Ferlo to talk about the recent decision of Mayor Luke Ravenstahl not to seek another term in office.

Ferlo said that he feels that the mayor has done much for the City of Pittsburgh and helped the city by creating a new image for the tech companies that are now building here.

He said that Mayor Ravenstahl had to quickly become mayor and maybe didn't understand the fish bowl life that he would live as the leader of the city, but felt he grew into his role.

Rob Pratte asked the question that many people have been asking of local politicians and that is if he plans on running for the position.

Sen. Ferlo's response was, "I'm giving it a look like my former colleague Sen. Wagner, our attorney general, as well as other candidates."

You can listen to Rob Pratte every weekend from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m.
