Fayette Co. Man Arrested For Alleged Assault On Child
CONNELLSVILLE (KDKA) – A Fayette County man has been charged with indecent assault against a 4-year-old girl.
According to police, the incident happened over a period of time between September and November of last year at a home on Newport Street in Connellsville.
During the course of their investigation, an arrest warrant was obtained for Melvin Ray Jones, 38, of Connellsville.
Jones is currently being housed in the Fayette County Prison on aggravated indecent assault and indecent assault charges.
No other details have been released at this time.
