NEW CASTLE (KDKA) — Police are investigating two shootings in Lawrence County.

The first happened at 9 p.m. on Pin Oak Drive in New Castle.

According to emergency officials, someone there was shot in the leg and taken to the hospital.

Then, 45 minutes later, there was a shooting at Buzz & Rich’s Bar on Hamilton Street in New Castle.

It’s not clear if the shooting happened in the bar or outside.

One person was shot there and was flown to the hospital.

New Castle City Police are investigating the incident.
