PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) – Have you ever wondered if requesting an inquiry on your credit score can cause it to lower the number? What do you, as a consumer, have to do to keep a good credit score? Do the extra, unused, credit cards in your wallet affect your credit score?

KDKA Radio’s Mike Pintek wants to help you as a consumer become more educated on how to better your credit score.

Chris McConville, the president of Credit Education, for joined Mike on Question & Answer Tuesday addressing many concerns of the KDKA listeners.

Chris is a credit expert and educator on topics such as scoring, reporting, FCRA, FDCPA, FACTA, identity theft, FICO scoring and more.

“Many people don’t understand the simple things they should do to fix their credit score,” said McConville as he further explained what could improve a score.
