PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police are at the scene of a school bus accident near Beltzhoover.

It happened before 10 a.m. Friday at Route 51 and Whited Street.

Officials say the bus driver ran a red light and hit another car.

The bus was carrying 24 children from Garret County, Md., who were on their way to the Peterson Events Center.

No injuries have been reported, but officials say the children are being checked out by medics just in case.
