Getting Ready For Economic Boom Coming To Beaver County
PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) -With Marcellous Shale drilling, the growth of Beaver County and surrounding towns is crucial to the region. Besides the industry from natural gas, the retail and technology sectors will also be important to the area.
The Pittsburgh Business Times is putting on another one of their panel discussions “Corridors of Opportunity” to address another area that could see an economic and development boom.
One of the major factors of whether or not the area will see development is dependent on what kind of workforce that the region has. Having an educated workforce with the training and development will be important to help the region grow. This is one of the topics that will be discussed among the panel of experts.
“With the shell cracker and all those things to come there will be a good discussion about a lot of other things Beaver County has to offer”, says Jack Manning ,acting Chairman of Beaver County Chamber of Commerce economic and development committee.
The event “Corridors of Opportunity” will be held on March 21, at the Community College of Beaver County.
