PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) — Matt Pitzarella is back in studio with Robert Mangino for the Marcellus Shale Hour, and on this edition it’s not all about gas.

Range Resources has sponsored the Yellow Creek Fly Fishing for years and they’re sponsoring it again this year.

The Yellow Creek Fly Fishing Classic is for experienced fly fishers to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis.  Eleven-year-old Sam Underwood  was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis early in his life and was on KDKA to talk about The Fly Fishing Classic and his fishing skills, which are undoubtedly better than Mangino’s.

On the second half of the Marcellus Shale Hour, Robert F. Powelson the Chairman of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission was on the show to explain the recent developments in Delaware, Pennsylvania.  Refineries in Delaware, Pa. were shut down and Range Resources — and the Sunoco Energy Partners — found a way to keep it open and to keep jobs in Pennsylvania.

Range Resources plans to use the preexisting pipeline to ship propane and ethane to the refineries in Delaware and to supply natural gas to more residents in Pennsylvania.
