PITTSBURGH (93.7 THE FAN)–Every Monday morning, ROOT Sports Color Analyst, Bob Errey joins the Fan Morning Show to talk about the Penguins. As it turns out, his weekly visits have become a superstition, because the Penguins have not lost a game since Bob’s weekly segment began.
Mark Eaton has been a fantastic addition to the Penguins, as they are 10-0 with him in the lineup.
“Defense first, and defense only.” According to Bob, that’s Eaton’s mentality, which is something that the Penguins needed.
The trade for Brenden Morrow was an even bigger story than Sunday’s win over the Flyers.
Bob says that Brenden fits right in on the second line with Evgeni Malkin and James Neal from the start. Of course, Malkin is still a question mark because of his health. But, Morrow was brought in to be on the second line.
Bob also tells the guys that he thinks Ray Shero may not be done making trades. With the deadline nine days away, Bob thinks that Shero would make any move that is available to make the team better.
