Harris Withdraws From Pittsburgh Mayoral Race
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Pittsburgh City Council President Darlene Harris has withdrawn from the mayoral race.
This was the last day to do so.
Harris tells KDKA Political Editor Jon Delano that her mother's health has made it difficult for her to campaign and care for her at the same time.
She says she does intend to endorse a candidate for mayor.
Harris is expected to make that announcement in the next few days.
Stay with KDKA for the latest on developments in the mayoral race.
