Natura Pet Products Recalls Dry Cat, Dog Food

Natura Pet Products is recalling some of its dry pet food due to possible salmonella contamination.

No cases of salmonella poisoning have been reported, but the recall affects several dozen types of dry cat and dog foods, as well as treats. It does not pertain to wet pet foods.

The company warns that pets affected by salmonella could show signs of diarrhea, bloody diarrhea, fever, vomiting and might be lethargic. Pet owners are instructed to contact their vets if their pet shows any of these symptoms.
