PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) — ROOT Sports Penguins analyst Jay Caufield joined The Fan Morning Show on Wednesday to look back at the Penguins’ 4-1 loss to the Sabres on Tuesday night.

The defeat snapped the Pens’ 15-game winning streak, but Caufield said he isn’t making too much of the defeat, labeling it “just one of those games” where the team didn’t get the bounces it normally does.

He offered his take on the Pens’ new lines, saying that Jarome Iginla seems to be meshing quite well with Evgeni Malkin and James Neal and breaking down how the team should deal with trying to find a good place for Tyler Kennedy.

Caufield’s commentary can be heard during every Penguins game on ROOT Sports, and on The Fan Morning Show every Wednesday.
